Sustainability Consulting

Cosentini understands the inherent value of developing sustainable buildings and aims to optimize building efficiency and promote sustainability for each project using an integrative approach.  Throughout design and construction, our sustainability team offers guidance and technical expertise to the client and project team.  We are driven to realize our client’s vision in a manner that fosters environmental stewardship and remains cost-effective.

Our portfolio of sustainable buildings includes over 75 LEED projects, as well as pioneering buildings pursuing recognition through design awards and incentive programs. Many of these are firsts of their kind – including the first residential high-rise building in the U.S. to earn LEED Gold; the first LEED Certified high-rise residential project in Chicago; and Harvard University’s first LEED Certified building on the campus. Cosentini’s own Korea office was the first LEED Certified Commercial Interiors project in the country. Our team currently manages more than 30 projects worldwide and engages Professional Engineers, LEED APs, Certified Energy Managers (CEM), and Building Energy Modeling Professionals (BEMP) to produce high performance sustainable buildings.
